Celebrate the holidays by staying in the car with Southwest Ohio’s seasonal light experiences

With COVID-19 cases rising across the country, now is not the best time to travel. Luckily there are still experiences that you can safely enjoy from the safety of your own vehicle. Read on to learn more about five such experiences in Southwest Ohio.
Daily through Jan. 9. Dusk to 10 p.m., though hours may be extended on weekends. $7 per person, children 3 and under free. Coney Island, 6201 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati
The grounds of Coney Island will be filled with more than 1 million synchronized lights during this annual show.
Open through Dec. 23. Hours vary. $15 per carload, $30 per oversized van (or 10+ visitors). 3205 S. Waynesville Road, Morrow
More than a million lights are synchronized to music during this drive-thru event. Those who plan ahead can also preorder cookies and hot chocolate to enjoy while they view the lights.
Open daily through Jan. 2. Su-Th 6-9 p.m., F-Sa 5:30-10 p.m. $15 per carload, $45 per 15-passenger van. Sharon Woods, 11450 Lebanon Road, Route 42, Sharonville
This 1-mile-long drive goes through the woods and features more than 250 light displays. Visitors can also buy special effects glasses at the gate to add even more fun to the experience.

Pyramid Hill’s newest holiday lights show brings holiday lights and light-based sculptures to the 300-plus-acre park.
