Miami County, an Ohio county just north of Dayton, is known for its picturesque small towns and cities, natural parks and hospitality, but it’s hard to enjoy all that when you’re still at home. However, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy some of the great things Miami County has to offer. Many stores and shops are selling their unique and only-in-Miami-County items online.
Living Simply Soap is a family-owned business in Tipp City that specializes in homemade soap. The shop sells a variety of different soaps, lotions and other skin products, from the Sexy and I Know It soap bar and Cool Citrus Basil cream to the Hello Sugar bath bomb and Lemon Drop salt scrub. While Living Simply Soap’s only store is closed, the store will ship items throughout the United States for a flat rate of $5.
Troy-based ReU Juicery & Organic Kitchen makes cold-pressed juice using fruits and vegetables and no processed sugar. The shop sells its organic juices and milk substitutes through its online store, so even those who can’t make it out to Miami County can enjoy its products. In addition to selling individual juices (such as the Dr. Green with cucumber, celery, lemon, apple, kale, spinach, rainbow chard and ginger), ReU Juicery provides five-day juice cleanse kits.
The Olive Oasis, a Troy olive shop that specializes in flavored oils and vinegars, is also selling its products online. Items like Garlic Butter Olive Oil and Raspberry Dark Balsamic Vinegar can be ordered and delivered directly to your home. Shipping is $15 per box, and each box can contain up to six bottles.
The Trophy Nut has been a Miami Valley staple for more than 50 years thanks to its Factory Store in Tipp City. While the store is currently closed to shoppers, snack lovers can still order nut samplers and party mixes to enjoy at home.
